Rhône Trading was founded in 1999 by Dirk Gheysens and was taken over in 2005 by Tony Duburcq. Rhône Trading specializes in the purchase and resale of POS-equipment.

Our sales office is situated in Lyon and our stock is managed by Unitek - a company which specializes in the maintenance and repair of POS-equipment.

There are three reasons for the growth of Rhône Trading within the last 3 years.

-1- Ecological awareness in Europe, coinciding with European legislation, which makes it more attractive for companies to sell on their obsolete equipment rather than disposing of it. Rhône Trading offers to collect used POS-equipment.

-2- Rapid developments in UC products and accessories can have adverse consequences for the purchasing manager; whereby different software becomes incompatible, costs increase in employee training and many different types(brands) of equipment may be used which can increase maintenance costs. Buying used products means it is then possible to maintain the installed equipment for a longer period and hereby benefit from the initial investment.

-3- The financial situation often forces the POS-purchaser to reduce his expenses to a minimum. Here, used PSO-equipment is the perfect solution..

We offer equipment which is adapted and with the same properties as new equipment, which means a saving of up to 50 % for the end user. This can be a good choice, when the equipment will be used for shorter periods or at specific times, for example, at the end of the year. With regard to companies offering maintenance it can be more cost-effective and time-saving to buy complete used sets instead of buying new equipment separately.
